Aevy Ventures Private Limited

By enrolling in any Aevy program, you agree to the standards on this page. They apply everywhere - live sessions, Discord, and any other community space associated with the program. This page is incorporated by reference into Aevy's Terms of Service.

Commitment & Participation

You are expected to actively engage with course content, attend scheduled sessions, and complete assignments on time. You agree to approach the Program with an open mind and a willingness to learn and grow.

Independent Learning & Effort

The Program demands active effort and independent application from every Student. Aevy's role is to provide instruction, mentorship, and resources, not to guarantee individual outcomes through personalised hand-holding. Favourable outcomes are proportional to the effort each Student invests. Aevy does not provide spoon-feeding or one-on-one remedial support beyond what is scheduled as part of the Program.

Respect & Collaboration

You will treat every cohort member with kindness and respect regardless of their background, identity, or opinions. You will actively listen and provide constructive feedback when appropriate.

Integrity & Honesty

You will not plagiarise. You will credit all sources and collaborators. You will be honest about your progress and challenges, and seek help when needed.

Communication

You will communicate clearly and respectfully. Disagreements must be addressed through open dialogue focused on issues, not personal attacks.

Continuous Feedback

You agree to receive and act on feedback as a tool for improvement.

Accountability

You take responsibility for your actions. Repeated violations of this Code may result in a warning or permanent removal from the Program without refund.

Inclusivity

You will actively contribute to an inclusive environment. Making assumptions about someone's background, abilities, or experiences is not acceptable.

Harassment & Appropriate Conduct

All members are expected to maintain professional, respectful conduct in every interaction. Any conduct that a reasonable person would consider harassing, intimidating, or sexually inappropriate is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: unsolicited personal or romantic messages, sexually suggestive comments, comments about physical appearance, gender-based remarks, or any behaviour that creates a hostile or uncomfortable environment for fellow students. Aevy is committed to maintaining a safe space for all members, including women in the cohort. Zero tolerance applies. Violations reported with evidence will result in immediate removal without refund.

Promotions & Links

You will not indiscriminately share promotional links, videos, articles, or other Discord servers. Any content shared must add direct value to the community and include context.

Language

All communication within the community must be in English to ensure everyone can participate.

Reporting

If you witness or experience any disrespect or misconduct, you agree to report it to staff via the designated support ticket system with evidence where available.

Staff Discretion

Staff decisions made in the community's best interest are final. This Code of Conduct is a living document and may be updated by Aevy at any time.

Identity & Profile

You must use your full legal name as your Discord username at all times. Your profile picture, status, and nickname must comply with community standards. Non-compliance after being asked to change may result in removal.

Trolling

Zero tolerance: Any form of trolling is prohibited and will result in permanent removal from the Program without refund, regardless of payment status.

No External Groups

Creating external WhatsApp or Discord groups related to this community is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent removal.

Support & Communication

You will not DM or personally message community mentors or staff. All queries must be raised through the official support ticket system.

Sensitive Topics

Religious, political, or related discussions (including any discussion of the political situation in India or the world) are strictly off-limits within the community.

Zero Tolerance for Discrimination

Any form of racism, discrimination, or hate speech will result in immediate and permanent removal from the Program without refund.

NSFW, Spam & Inappropriate Content

You will not post NSFW content, spam, offensive material, or anything that detracts from the shared learning environment.

Channel Etiquette

You will use the correct channels for discussions and will not post off-topic content in dedicated channels.

Safety

If you feel uncomfortable due to any community member's behaviour, report it immediately to staff with evidence. Aevy takes member safety seriously.
